Cathy has been a member of BMTG since May 2008.
She also belongs to Stagelight Theatre Company and is a former member of Nottingham Arts theatre. With them she was in Stepping Out in 2003, where she played the role of Lyn the nurse. She was also in Company in 2004 in which she was Susan. From her younger days, she has experience at ballet, modern and tap, although she says her abilities these days are "very limited".
During the day Cathy is a Production Manager for a design agency in Derby. However, her most interesting job, was being part of the entertainment staff on passenger ferries - as well as doing face painting and balloon modelling for the children (and various hen parties with wild imaginations) she had to dress up as Jerry Mouse, and along with her assigned Tom the Cat, had to run around the boat re-enacting scenes from the cartoons. It was the most fun she's ever had and got paid for!
