Valerie has been with BMTG since 2007.
She started off singing in school choirs before progressing to the Nottingham Youth Choir as well as a church choir. She has also had lessons in Irish dance, tap and ballet and has taken part in the 11th session art workshops.
And to top that all off, she plays flute (which she has also taught), oboe and piccolo and has played with the Djanogly Orchestra in Nottingham.
Not surprisingly, Valerie enjoys singing, acting and performing. She also likes horse-riding and animals generally.
During the day she is a Care Assistant, but is hoping to soon be a student nurse.
She also says she is "a laugh", supportive and fun to be with. Only time will tell.
She's also easily teased.
